Job Summary:
The Waters of Smyrna is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing ADON to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a leader in long-term care, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to help us achieve this goal.
ADON Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department , ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes, staff development, and overall departmental performance Provide guidance and support to nursing staff , including orientation, training, and evaluation Coordinate with other departments , including therapy, social services, and dietary, to ensure seamless care delivery Participate in quality improvement initiatives , identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them Maintain accurate and timely records , including patient assessments, care plans, and staffing schedules
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care , with a strong background in nursing administration Current RN licensure in TN Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire staff Excellent clinical skills , with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
