Director of Nursing Confidential Booker, TX 79005 Full-time Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our long-term care nursing department with passion, strategic insight, and dedication. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative and compliant environment. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practice and staff development, empowering your team to achieve its highest potential! Duties Implement comprehensive nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry standards Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff to promote professional growth, high performance, and a positive work environment Coordinate educational programs and training initiatives to enhance staff skills and maintain compliance with accreditation requirements Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures across all nursing activities Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and implementing best practices in clinical care and management Experience Management experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of excellence Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate vision, motivate staff, and build effective relationships across departments Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current, active RN license in the state of Texas, maintained in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing. Meets background check requirements per Texas Health and Human Services Commission (THHSC) standards. Ability to implement changes driven by federal, state, and organizational requirements. Willingness to be present in the facility across varying shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed. Familiarity with PCC preferred, but not required.
