El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications RN License Pediatric unit experience Master's degree Hospital experience Full Job Description The CNO collaborates with the executive team to develop and lead the short and long-term strategic direction of the organization, explore growth opportunities, and provide operational oversight of the organization. The CNO provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure effective and efficient systems and processes that will allow EPCH to continue to grow and fulfill its mission to provide the highest health care value to those served and our community. The Chief Nursing Office (CNO) provides leadership and oversight to facilitate quality-nursing practice across the organization. The CNO ensures one standard of patient care and the efficient and effective coordination and delivery of patient care services across the organization. Work Experience Ten years progressively responsible Healthcare Leadership experience to include 3 to 5 years pediatric hospital experience. Education and Training Master's Degree in nursing, healthcare, or business. Advanced certification required in area of specialty preferred. Magnet Recognition Program or Pathways to Excellence program experiences preferred. Doctorate preferred. Bilingual Preferred. Current license for Texas State Board of Nursing Examiners Skills Project management skills. Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication skills Ability to problem solve within a multi-disciplinary environment Effective facilitation and personal interaction skills appropriate to achieve consensus within a complete workenvironment. In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards, national, state and local regulations and practice guidelines Ability to analyze complex problems and situations and realize potential effects of proposed actions. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to promote teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to mutual goals. Proven ability to negotiate and mediate, bringing, together diverse perspectives with beneficial outcomes. Advanced knowledge of factors affecting delivery of patient care services and ability to lead the development and implementation of organizational changes to address strategic initiatives and opportunities to improve patient care and nursing practice. Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities. Proven leadership ability, with demonstrated success in engendering trust, confidence, and commitment of medical staff. Demonstrated ability to plan and carry out projects or change initiatives of significant magnitude.
