Summary We are seeking a Traveling Senior Director of Nursing to join our team at Paradigm Healthcare. In this leadership role, you will oversee nursing operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the lives of our residents and leading a team of dedicated nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
DON Coverage for
Vacancies:
Serve as interim Director of Nursing during periods of DON vacancies across the Texas and Ohio region. Provide clinical oversight, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance support during transitions.
Onboarding and Training:
Lead the orientation and onboarding process for new Directors of Nursing. Provide hands-on training and mentorship to support successful leadership transitions. Reinforce clinical systems, regulatory expectations, and company policies.
Special Projects:
When not assigned to an open DON vacancy, they support facility-based special projects. Assist with survey preparation, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, or performance recovery plans. Serve as a resource for standardizing systems and elevating clinical operations. Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice; BSN or higher preferred. Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of
CMS/HHSC
regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management. Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
