Eden Certified, 5 Star home with a tight knit staff. Competitive salary and superior benefits package! Administrator and Department Heads are supportive of DON responsibilities and feel a teamwork approach is best! DON experience is helpful but not required. A desire to learn how to apply nursing assessment skills to improve quality in a long term care setting is a must! The job requirements is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
