Director of Nursing Director of Nursing Job Requirements:
Manage nursing staff to assure that all residents are getting exceptional care Create an atmosphere within the nursing group to increase staff longevity Evaluate potential residents to determine their ability to live at Hidden Springs Maintain records for each resident and staff to assure compliance to all state requirements Act as liaison between resident and staff, family, physicians and administration. Oversee all clinical operations and nursing services within the community. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans (ISPs). Ensure compliance with Virginia Department of Social Services and Department of Health standards. Hire, train, and supervise nursing and caregiving staff. Lead quality assurance, infection control, and medication management programs. Coordinate resident care with physicians, families, and outside healthcare providers. Conduct regular audits and prepare for state inspections. Foster a positive, resident-focused culture promoting dignity, respect, and independence. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia (required). 3+ years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care (preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with Virginia ALF regulations
