Roanoke, VA Starting Salary:
$115,000+ per year (based on experience) Full-Time About Us Our Lady of the Valley is a nonprofit, nondenominational senior living community sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Since 1989, we have provided quality housing, care, and services to seniors in the Roanoke Valley. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of resident care. The DON oversees nursing operations, staff supervision, clinical compliance, assessments, care planning, and resident health services. Key Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and Registered Medication Aides (RMAs) Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Review staff schedules and staffing needs Conduct resident assessments and oversee care plans Ensure accurate documentation and resident records Participate in care plan meetings Provide staff training and support Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Nursing leadership or supervisory experience Experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Benefits Competitive salary starting at $115,000+ Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program Our Lady of the Valley is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
