Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology, public health or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington Minimum five (5) years prior experience as a nurse Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership or managerial position in a clinical setting, with a proven record of improving patient care standards Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and staff Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to use various software programs Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state) Able to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as needed Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related field Prior behavioral health nursing experience highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency of medical software and data management systems

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISION
Conducts ongoing needs assessments to determine patient care improvement opportunities\ Establish clear, achievable goals for assigned team members, and how individual roles and responsibilities contribute to the organization's overall success Hire, coach, mentor, discipline and terminate employees, resolve conflicts Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback on an ongoing basis; complete formal competency assessments and performance evaluations according to established THIRA timelines Demonstrate active listening skills, clearly communicate expectations, and facilitate open dialogue among team members Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters employee motivation and engagement, and contributes to achievement of department and company goals
NURSING TEAM ADMINISTRATION
Develops and implements nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care education programs, collaborating with other disciplines as needed Serve as primary liaison between Nursing team/staff, prescribing, nutrition, and all other clinical disciplines to ensure consistent cohesive multidisciplinary functioning Develops, implements, and ensures ongoing compliance with Federal, state, and accreditation standards Designs and manages initiatives to improve nursing efficiency and patient outcomes Serve as primary liaison between Nursing team/staff, prescribing, nutrition, and all other clinical disciplines to ensure consistent cohesive multidisciplinary functioning Collaborate with the Medical Director, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners and Program Services leadership and their staff, to ensure comprehensive care of patients and their families Provide oversight of all Nursing services of THIRA Health programming; ensure adequate and qualified nursing staff for clinical service/coverage needs Maintain infection control standards within the facility, ensure employees and patients uphold procedures and standards as relevant Strengthen medication management systems and safety protocols Maintain Nursing Services budget and support maintenance of the Medical Services budget with the Medical Director Maintains safety rules and procedures that incorporate federal and state regulations and company policies Keeps the Medical Director and CEO up to date on patient changes, staffing changes, and other critical data

Equipment includes standard office equipment, i.e., computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands, and lifting up to 25lbs. Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients. Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday work week. #priority
