Job Description
The Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) is a critical leadership role, appointed directly by the Administrator, to shape the future of patient care and clinical operations. The DON will lead a dedicated team of clinical professionals and will be empowered to:
Salary Range:
$150k-$250k per yearDrive Clinical & Operational Excellence:
Assess, refine, and implement best-in-class clinical programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and patient/family satisfaction.Lead and Inspire:
Mentor, develop, and retain a strong nursing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.Steward Quality and Compliance:
Serve as the facility's clinical authority, ensuring impeccable survey readiness and leading the charge on quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.Forge Strategic Partnerships:

We are seeking an accomplished nursing leader with a track record of success in a post-acute or long-term care setting.Your background likely includes:
An active, unencumbered RN license in the State. A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with at least 2+ years as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Demonstrated expertise in managing Medicare/Medicaid regulations, state survey processes, and infection control protocols. Proven financial acumen with experience in managing departmental budgets, staffing, and labor costs. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build consensus. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.Similar jobs in Federal Way, WA
