The Administrative Supervisor (Nursing Manager/Director) is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the nursing staff within a healthcare facility. They are tasked with coordinating and supervising administrative activities to ensure efficient and effective operations of nursing services.Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting. 2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. 3. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and collaboration. 4. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff to promote professional growth and development. 5. Monitor patient care activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met. 6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services. 7. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to improve overall healthcare outcomes. 8. Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve organizational goals. 9. Stay current on industry trends and developments to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. 10. Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during challenging situations or emergencies.Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 2. Current RN license in the state of practice. 3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. 4. Strong leadership and communication skills. 5. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. 6. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. 7. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. 8.
