Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Director of Nursing Services to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing administration, with a focus on assisted living, nursing homes, home health, and hospice care. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to managing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a compassionate environment for residents and staff alike. The RN Director will oversee the development and implementation of care plans, supervise nursing personnel, and uphold the highest standards of patient-centered care. Duties Provide strategic leadership for nursing services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-focused care in accordance with regulatory standards such as Medicare and HIPAA. Oversee the management of medical records, documentation review, and compliance with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Supervise nurse management staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and shift management to maintain an efficient and motivated team. Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual residents' needs while integrating physiology and anatomy knowledge to optimize health outcomes. Monitor clinical operations related to assisted living, nursing home activities, home health services, and hospice care programs to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Oversee the review of medical terminology documentation and ensure proper documentation practices aligned with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care, manage MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, and facilitate smooth communication across departments. Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on resident safety, satisfaction, and overall care excellence while managing resources effectively. Experience Proven leadership experience in nursing administration within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health agencies. Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong background in nurse management and shift oversight. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and documentation review processes relevant to healthcare settings. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used for medical records management and compliance tracking. Hands-on experience managing care plans for diverse resident populations including those requiring hospice or acute care services. Strong understanding of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes related to long-term care services. Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism. Pay:
$140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
