Minor Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101 From $81,000 a year - Full-time From $81,000 a year - Full-time Job Summary Union Grand a Vineyard Park Community is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading resident care services, supporting caregiving staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring residents receive high-quality, individualized care. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in senior living who is passionate about serving the elderly population and creating a positive environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations for Assisted Living and Memory Care Ensure resident care is provided according to individualized service plans and state regulations Lead, support, and mentor caregiving and medication staff Conduct resident assessments and care plan reviews Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice agencies, and outside providers Maintain medication systems and clinical documentation Participate in admissions and resident evaluations Communicate with families regarding resident care needs and updates Ensure compliance with Washington State regulations and community policies Assist with staff training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management Monitor infection control practices and resident safety standards Respond to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns as needed Promote a positive, resident-centered culture within the community Qualifications Previous leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living preferred Strong understanding of resident care, service planning, and state regulations Experience supervising caregiving or clinical teams preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude CPR/First Aid certification preferred Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and leadership development Why Join Union Grand?
