Sunshine Health Facilities is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new assisted living community—an exciting milestone in our commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality senior care. Scheduled for completion in June 2026 , this state-of-the-art facility will feature modern amenities, spacious apartments, peaceful outdoor spaces, and welcoming community areas—designed with safety, dignity, and comfort in mind. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to play a key leadership role in launching this new community and shaping its clinical excellence from the ground up. Job Summary The Director of Nursing will lead all clinical operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and the development of a strong, compassionate care team. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to ensure competency and performance Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and survey readiness Maintain high-quality care standards, including infection control and resident safety Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team collaboration Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely, professional manner Support staff development, education, and ongoing training programs Build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners Why Join Us?
