Position:
Assistant Director of Nursing Edenbrook Platteville, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility located in Platteville, WI. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to administer the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility. The ADON is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents' care.
Responsibilities:
This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines. Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights. Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift. Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Participates as a member of the facility's interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility's nursing services. Experience:
Licensed Registered Nurse with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required. Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program. 3 years experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred. Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid. Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment. Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
