Job Description

Seeking a Dynamic Director of Nursing (RN) for Skilled Nursing Community Relocation Assistance Available Do you enjoy working in an environment where what you do matters? From a short-term rehabilitation stay to long-term nursing care, each of our communities is designed to reduce hospitalizations so our patients can focus on achieving their individual care plan goals, whether it's returning home or staying with us for long-term care.
Essential Functions:
Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards of practice, policy, and process manuals. Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations, and discharge planning. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of certification laws and requirements, survey requirements, and the Medicare program. Validates that reporting departments consistently meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities for licensure. Validates the existence of a quality assurance program for nursing services and coordinates the interdisciplinary quality assurance program. Directs the functions and activities of the ED in their absence.

Bachelor's Degree in
Nursing Preferred:
Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing
Preferred:
Minimum two years' experience as a nursing services supervisor in long-term care.
