$4,000 Hiring & Retention Bonus (Limited Time Offer) Why This Role Matters We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to serve as Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR). This leadership role supports the Director of Rehabilitation in overseeing the rehabilitation program, mentoring a multidisciplinary therapy team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This position offers an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking growth in senior leadership.
Reporting:
This position works closely with the Director of Rehabilitation and collaborates with facility leadership, nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams. Role Overview Assist in leading and managing the daily operations of the rehabilitation department Support and supervise Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, assistants, and therapy aides Support regulatory compliance and ensure accurate, timely documentation Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care Assist in developing individualized care plans and supporting PDPM processes Monitor productivity, clinical outcomes, and departmental performance Participate in audits, care conferences, and leadership meetings Provide coverage for the Director of Rehabilitation as needed to ensure continuity of operations What We're Looking For Active California license in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapist in good standing Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation, Lead Therapist, or Rehabilitation Supervisor preferred Clinicians with 5+ years of experience as PT in a skilled nursing facility who are seeking leadership growth are encouraged to apply Bachelor's degree in Physical therapy or Occupational Therapy (or higher) Knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and skilled nursing facility regulations Experience with EMR systems and regulatory compliance Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to foster teamwork, professional growth, and a positive work environment Passion for serving the geriatric population What We Offer (Terms and Conditions Apply) Competitive salary Hiring, and retention bonus programs Paid Orientation Licensure renewal and continuing education unit (CEU) assistance for eligible full-time therapists Supportive leadership team with ongoing clinical mentorship Career growth and professional development opportunities Collaborative, patient-centered team culture Optional PRN or on-call opportunities at nearby facilities, based on availability and operational needs Additional benefits available based on employment status and eligibility Application Instructions Interested candidates are invited to apply and upload their resume.
