Full Job Description Description:
This is a department-head position for a seasoned therapy leader who's ready to step fully into strategy high-impact leadership. You'll own the direction of a multidisciplinary therapy department: its people, its performance, its culture, and its reputation within the organization.

Setting the strategic direction for all therapy services, aligned to organizational goals Leading department hiring, development, performance, and succession Owning the departmental budget: forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action Driving quality assurance and performance improvement programs (QAPI) Maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance, including survey readiness Building relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and executive leadership Developing and reporting on KPIs that reflect departmental impact and outcomes Representing therapy at the organizational leadership level as its primary advocate What we're looking for: Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or closely related field 7+ years in a therapy or rehabilitation setting, with at least 4 in formal leadership Demonstrated experience managing budgets, quality programs, and multi-disciplinary teams Comfort navigating complex institutional environments; multi-site experience a plus Colorado therapist licensure (PT, OT, SLP) preferred not required for those with graduate-level healthcare administration credentials CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position are representative of a standard administrative and leadership role. The position primarily involves sitting, standing, and walking within an office and clinical environment. Occasional light lifting may be subject to lifting objects weighing over 50 pounds. This is an administrative leadership role based in a dedicated office, with regular presence on the therapy floor to stay grounded in operations. Occasional travel between organizational locations may be required. The position works across the full scope of the organization from day-to-day staffing decisions to executive-level reporting.
