Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Rehab Director to lead our NEW in-house Rehab Department. Do you have aspirations of running your own Rehab Dept. without corporate oversight, productivity goals? Are you someone who is interested in building and operating your own rehab team! The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Rehabe management, skilled nursing home operations, and clinical supervision. This role will oversee the complete operations of the Rehab Dept. to ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance resident care across our center. The Rehab Director will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence, managing budgets, and implementing best practices in rehabilitation services. Duties Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all rehabilitation programs and services within the center. Supervise therapists, ensuring high standards of resident care and quality performance. Manage financial responsibilities of billing, payroll and resource allocation to optimize departmental efficiency. Oversee department management tasks including caseloads, documentation standards, vendor utilization and HIPAA compliance. Utilize PointClickCare and Rehab software for documentation and data analysis. Collaborate with physicians, the IDT and external providers to coordinate resident care plans and discharge processes. Monitor quality assurance metrics and develop improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare management or clinic administration with a background in skilled nursing facility rehab operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing therapy teams within a clinical setting. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and DPH survey process. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational efficiency.
