Job Description

Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
  • PT/PTA New London Rehab and Care of Waterford Waterford, CT $85,000
  • 112,000/year LTC Therapy is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
  • PT/PTA to lead our therapy department within a skilled nursing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a rehabilitation leader who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and quality patient outcomes in a SNF setting.
What You'll Do:
Direct and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department Lead, mentor, and support PT, OT, and SLP staff Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines, PDPM standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans Monitor clinical outcomes, department productivity, and service quality initiatives Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and operational records Participate in staff onboarding, education, scheduling, and performance management
What We're Looking For:
Active PT or PTA license required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility Previous rehab leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of SNF operations, rehab compliance, and Medicare regulations Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
