Director of Rehabilitation (Full-Time) North Suburban Chicago Area, Illinois A leading rehabilitation services provider is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to oversee therapy operations within a well-established senior living community in the north suburbs of Chicago. This leadership role offers the opportunity to drive clinical excellence while shaping a collaborative, resident-centered care environment. About the Role The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the overall performance and coordination of the therapy department. This individual will partner closely with community leadership and regional teams to ensure efficient operations, strong clinical outcomes, and a positive team culture. Success in this role requires a balance of hands-on clinical expertise and effective leadership. Core Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day rehabilitation department operations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care and outcomes Oversee staffing, scheduling, and productivity to ensure operational efficiency Maintain compliance with all regulatory, documentation, and company standards Serve as a key point of contact between therapy staff and organizational leadership Coach and develop team members to promote engagement and clinical growth Support program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives Foster a positive, service-driven environment focused on resident success Qualifications Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology (or
PTA/COTA
