Job Description

Heritage Rehab is currently seeking a new Regional Therapy Director to join our growing team in Massachusetts. Position Overview The Regional Therapy Director provides leadership, oversight, and guidance to Directors of Rehabilitation and the therapy teams to ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and successful implementation of strategic initiatives that support client satisfaction and retention. This role reports to the Vice President of Therapy Services. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop high-performing rehab teams through mentorship, guidance, and professional support
  • Support new site implementations, including onsite and virtual transition assistance
  • Plan, prepare for, and conduct site visits
  • Ensure facilities meet or exceed established performance expectations
  • Participate in scheduled calls and effectively implement training and directives
  • Communicate key updates and expectations to therapy teams
  • Facilitate regular and ad hoc meetings with DORs and therapy teams to review performance, set goals, and ensure accountability
  • Monitor and support achievement of key performance indicators across teams
  • Evaluate team performance and implement corrective action plans for underperformance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications
  • 5+ years of PT, OT, or ST experience in long-term care preferred
  • 2+ years managing DORs in a multi-site LTC setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state reimbursement and regulatory requirements
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while working independently and remotely
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
