Habilitation Therapy Director

Habilitation director needed to oversee a robust therapy department serving young adult through geriatric individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day operations for all therapies (physical, occupational, and speech) Guide, support, and develop therapists and support personnel Create, assess, and revise policies and procedures Ensure treatment plans are personalized, goal-oriented, and consistently implemented Explore and actively pursue opportunities to expand therapy programs throughout the organization Work collaboratively with all departments to improve service delivery Maintain adherence to all applicable regulatory and professional standards Perform routine reviews of client records and treatment documentation Oversee the department budget and resources

Qualifications:

Current state licensure as a physical or occupational therapist Masters degree or higher in physical or occupational therapy required Minimum five years of experience in physical or occupational therapy; preferably within the special needs community Three years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Valid professional liability insurance, or ability to obtain a policy

Pay:

$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
