Role:
As a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR), you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation programs that focus on improving the physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being of our patients. You will lead a team of rehabilitation professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to provide high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that align with the needs of our patients and the goals of the organization Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, physical medicine, and therapy, to ensure seamless care coordination Provide clinical supervision and guidance to rehabilitation staff, including therapists, technicians, and assistants Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the field of rehabilitation
Requirements:
Strong clinical background in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with expertise in [ Specific Rehabilitation Specialty(ies) ] Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor a team of rehabilitation professionals Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and duties
