Simpson House is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department within our Skilled Nursing Facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing rehabilitation services, driving clinical excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting outstanding patient outcomes for our residents. The Director of Rehabilitation will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and resident-centered care. Position Summary The Director of Rehabilitation provides strategic and operational leadership for all rehabilitation services within the SNF. The DOR is responsible for managing therapy staff, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining productivity standards, and promoting exceptional resident outcomes. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Direct and oversee Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services. Ensure evidence-based clinical practices and quality patient care. Monitor resident progress and therapy outcomes. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Operational Management Manage daily rehabilitation department operations. Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity. Oversee therapy documentation and billing compliance. Develop and implement department policies and procedures. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, and state regulations. Prepare for surveys, audits, and accreditation reviews. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Team Development Recruit, mentor, and evaluate rehabilitation staff. Provide coaching and performance management. Promote continuing education and professional growth. Quality & Outcomes Track key performance indicators and rehabilitation outcomes. Implement quality improvement initiatives. Support resident satisfaction and family engagement efforts. Qualifications Required Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Current Pennsylvania licensure in good standing. Minimum of 3-5 years of rehabilitation management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute care setting. Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, PDPM, and SNF regulations. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Preferred Director of Rehabilitation experience in a multi-disciplinary therapy environment. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Knowledge of quality measures and value-based care initiatives. #INDLP2
