Job Description

Position Summary:
The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the rehabilitation department in a specific skilled nursing facility in order to best meet patient's/resident's needs, facility's operational objectives and federal and state regulations. Full-time benefits start on the first day of the month following your start date!

USD $74,880.00
  • USD $79,040.
00 /Yr.
Wage Commensuration:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The DOR provides discipline specific rehabilitation services and manages the operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department which includes therapist recruitment, patient/resident scheduling, quality assurance, staff training and development, operational performance, customer satisfaction, program analysis, regulatory compliance and business development. The DOR communicates regularly and effectively with all facility stakeholders to ensure the provision of high quality care and the collaborative accomplishment of objectives
Qualifications & Requirements:
Two (2) years experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant or Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid license to practice in the state that facility is located in Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and be able to learn new programs and applications. Must have the ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language. Must have effective time management, customer service and conflict resolution skills. Prior experience in personnel management preferred. Reliable transportation required
