Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department Lead and support therapy staff including PTAs, COTAs, and therapists Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Manage productivity standards and departmental performance Coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams Monitor documentation accuracy and timely completion Assist with scheduling, staffing, and therapy program development Maintain high standards for patient outcomes and customer satisfaction Provide mentorship and leadership to rehabilitation staff Support census development and program growth initiatives Required Qualifications Active South Dakota PTA or COTA license in good standing Minimum 5 years of rehabilitation leadership experience required Previous Director of Rehabilitation experience strongly preferred Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and rehab regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Proven leadership and team management abilities Education & Certification Requirements Associate Degree from an accredited PTA or COTA program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Why Join This Opportunity?
