Avir Health Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy team. The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, efficient staffing, and outstanding service for residents and their families. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong organizational and communication skills who thrives in a resident-focused environment. Oversee therapy services and ensure treatment plans are implemented effectively. Coordinate admissions, evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning. Monitor therapist documentation for accuracy and timeliness. Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, labor hours, and departmental performance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and referral sources. Support the recruitment, development, and retention of rehabilitation staff. Qualifications Current licensure as an
SLP,OT, PT, PTA, COTA.
Previous leadership or rehabilitation management experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Knowledge of rehabilitation services, regulatory requirements, and skilled nursing operations. Commitment to resident-centered care and team success.
