A Texas licensed PT, OT, COTA, PTA, or SLP is required for this position. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience as Director of Rehab in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits Plans accordingly and coordinates schedules to achieve maximum efficiency staff based on clinical needs and treatment activity of staff members Works pro-actively to build, manage, and schedule PRN pool, as needed Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated Engages in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members Prompt preparation and delivery of any regular or ad hoc reports; as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis

Flexible Schedules Skills:

Previous leadership experience preferred SNF/Long term care experience preferred Current knowledge of treatment practices Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Required licensure: Current Therapy License in the State of Texas.
