Director of Rehab

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Rehab Director to lead therapy operations within a skilled nursing and/or assisted living setting in the Dousman / Oconomowoc area. This individual will serve as the on-site leader for rehabilitation services, overseeing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy teams while driving high-quality patient outcomes and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a licensed PT or OT who is passionate about developing teams, optimizing clinical operations, and delivering excellent care in a post-acute setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily therapy operations across a multidisciplinary rehab team (PT, OT, COTA, Speech) Mentor and develop clinical staff, fostering a strong, collaborative team environment Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and strong clinical outcomes across adult and geriatric populations Oversee productivity, scheduling, and overall therapy performance within the facility Partner with facility and regional leadership to drive operational excellence and maintain compliance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably within SNF, assisted living, or post-acute settings Prior leadership or supervisory experience required (Rehab Director or equivalent strongly preferred) Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience working with adult/geriatric populations Prior Rehab Director or PT/OT leadership experience Experience overseeing therapy services across multiple settings (SNF, ALF, outpatient) Familiarity with productivity management, budgeting, and operational metrics Experience building or turning around therapy programs/teams Strong tenure in previous roles (demonstrates stability in leadership) Experience working in rural or hard-to-staff markets Background with contract rehab organizations or managing services across partner facilities Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and facility administrators
