Director of Rehabilitation

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting. This role is responsible for overseeing all rehabilitation services, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing clinical outcomes, and leading a high-performing therapy team. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department Supervise Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy staff Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory standards Monitor clinical outcomes, documentation accuracy, and billing integrity Manage department budget, staffing, and productivity Collaborate with the Administrator, DON, and IDT team to support facility goals Drive census growth through quality outcomes and hospital relationships Mentor and develop therapy team members Qualifications Licensed PT, OT, or SLP in good standing Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an SNF or post-acute setting Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare guidelines, and rehab documentation standards Proven ability to manage productivity and financial performance Excellent communication and team leadership skills Compensation & Benefits Salary range $80,000 - $95,000 based on experience Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401k PTO Supportive leadership team
