Director of Nursing (DON) - Skilled Nursing / Rehab - Parkersburg, WV Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a contract assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia . This leadership opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional with a strong background in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care settings. The ideal candidate will have experience leading nursing teams, overseeing clinical operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving quality resident care initiatives within a SNF/Rehab environment.

ASAP Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing services Supervise nursing staff, unit managers, and clinical leaders Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations Monitor quality metrics, infection prevention, and clinical outcomes Oversee resident care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration Manage staffing, scheduling, retention, and employee development Lead survey readiness and performance improvement initiatives Foster a culture focused on resident-centered care and clinical excellence Requirements Active RN License Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care experience required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of regulatory compliance, survey processes, and quality standards Ability to lead clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment Why Apply This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing leader seeking a day-shift leadership assignment with competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care, staff development, and facility success.
