Summary:
The Neurophysiology Technologist I is an entry level position in the Neurophysiology Department. A Neurophysiology Technologist I performs neurophysiology procedures (e.g. electroencephalograms). Technologists must be able to perform duties independently without the need for direct supervision.
Other information:
Effective verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to relate to diverse age and demographic backgrounds. Be able to work independently using efficient time management and organizational skills. Demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Education Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs(CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, ABRET approved education program, or an Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience 6 months experience working in a patient care environment preferred Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
