Data Interpretation Support:
Analyze and abstract raw EEG data, marking abnormalities, spike activities, or slowing patterns to assist the reading Neurologist in generating an accurate diagnosis.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all neurodiagnostic equipment is calibrated, sanitized, and functioning properly in accordance with hospital safety and infection control guidelines.
Documentation & Compliance:
Enter procedural data, patient history, and technical annotations accurately into the VA's electronic healthcare record system in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience performing EEG testing in a hospital, neurology clinic, or clinical laboratory setting. Experience with long-term monitoring (LTM) or ICU monitoring is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Comprehensive understanding of the international 10-20 system for electrode placement. Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, EEG technology waveforms, and standard activation protocols.
