Full Job Description Job Description:
Performance of inpatient electroencephalograms (EEG), electronic processing of EEGs in Epic. Ability to secure electrodes, monitor patient's status, identify and correct issues during the recording process.Education:
Completion of EEG Technician Program- Required or Equivalent Training or Experience considered in lieu of
Education Requirements Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support- American Heart Association
- Required R.EEG T. Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist
- ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation or EEGT Electroencephalographic
- American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists or Equivalent Preferred within 2 years of hire
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skill- Required. Ability to accurately perform and process Electroencephalograms
- Required CLTM
- certified long term monitoring
Preferred Work Shift:
10.0- 08:00
- 18:30 No Waive (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$46.23- $62.
