Electrophysiology Tech Stamford Health - 3.7 Stamford, CT Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Direct patient care Laboratory inventory control Hospital patient safety Cardiac catheterization Laboratory experience Mid-level ECG equipment Patient safety Quality assurance Cardiovascular patient monitoring Cath lab Full Job Description Performs within the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs to deliver high quality patient care reflective of our values and utilizing Stamford Hospital policies. Performs a variety of technical duties in multiple modalities which includes:
ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY
Pacemaker, ICD, Bi-V PPM and ICD Implants. Assists in the preparation and execution of procedures under the direct supervision of the operating physician. He/She will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to support a high quality, clinical execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the laboratory setting including maintaining a sterile field, patient prep, hemodynamic and EKG monitoring, and management of complications in the department in order to promote and maintain patient safety in an environment reflective of our values. The EP technologist will assist with management of all EP inventories, including devices and disposable supplies. He/She will assist with billing and charging for supplies and maintaining an accurate inventory. The Electrophysiology Technologist will be responsible for performing daily Quality Assurance checks on Radiographic, Hemodynamic, and a full range of EP equipment.
