JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Demonstrate proficiency by performing routine EKG's and Holter Monitoring as requested by a provider and in accordance with standard practices.
Education, License & Cert:
High School Graduate or equivalent required. EKG Class‐Basic Interpretation and understanding of medical terminology necessary.
Experience:
Previous related experience is preferred.
Essential Functions:
1. Performs and process EKG's on patients in the Clinic. 2. All essential functions with MUSE workstation. 3. Maintain proper billing practices. 4. Reviews patient's Medical Records to obtain and record identifying information required for EKG Records. 5. Maintain good rapport with all physicians and support staff. 6. Scan Holters as needed. 7. Apply and instruct patients for Holter monitors.
