Job Description

Performs a variety of duties associated with performing and processing electrocardiograms and holter monitors. Responsible for initial review of ECG for abnormality, initial troubleshooting, and following safe laboratory practices. Gives direction to new employees and assists with training of new employees, medical students, and other allied health professionals. Functions as part of a large rotational team in different physical locations (outpatient and inpatient, including the Hybrid Care Unit) which provides 24-hour services at the hospital. •This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship / we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question - Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Prior ECG experience is preferred. Computer experience is desired. Must be highly organized, efficient, and multifunctional with ability to work independently. Must have good communication, problem solving and public relation skills. Must be able to make decisions quickly and accurately. Experience in a health care setting and/or education for a health care position is preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
BLS required. CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) National Certification is preferred.
