Job Description

Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Step into a highly specialized healthcare environment where your expertise in imaging will support electrophysiology procedures. This contract opportunity focuses on utilizing your skills as an EP Tech to ensure high standards of patient care throughout diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or registry as an Electrophysiology Technologist (RCES or similar preferred) Proven experience supporting imaging in a cardiac electrophysiology lab Proficiency in set-up, operation, and maintenance of EP-specific imaging equipment In-depth understanding of sterile technique and cardiovascular anatomy Familiarity with current EP procedural protocols, including ablations, device implants, and mapping BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
Support physicians throughout electrophysiology studies and device procedures, offering expert imaging support and troubleshooting Position and operate EP imaging equipment for optimal images and patient safety Perform pre-procedure equipment checks and calibration Document all procedural data accurately, maintaining detailed patient records Collaborate with various clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal outcomes Monitor patients for any changes during EP lab procedures, assisting as needed with interventions
