Job Description

Electrophysiology Technologist I Position Summary:
Performs and reviews baseline patient assessments, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures Responsibilities Provides procedure set-up and scrub assistance to physician during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures Accurately and efficiently monitors, interprets, collects and records patient data Provides patient care as directed by a qualified physician Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or 2 years of electrophysiology technologist experience in lieu of education required Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred 1 year Electrophysiology tech experience preferred Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during
General Orientation Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs Must be able to maintain a standing position Typical equipment used in a clinical job Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
