Job Description:
Participates in monitoring, guiding, and evaluating staff performance, specifically productivity and quality management. Assists with coordinating activities, prioritizing workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving. Performs the duties of a technologist and provides consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment. Performs other duties as assigned. Counsels students and parents regarding the availability of financial aid. Reviews students' enrollment status and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) after the drop/add period and adjusts aid accordingly. Packages students with financial aid funds according to federal and state regulations. Downloads entrance and exit counseling reports, exports loans to loan guarantor, and imports response and disbursement files into the financial aid system. Updates information to the Department of Education for verified students and makes necessary corrections. Processes letters to students for items needed to complete financial aid files and ensures eligibility criteria are met. Reviews financial aid applicant files for accuracy and verifies selected students with the Department of Education. Serves as a positive role model for staff and patients by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
