1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for weekend night shifts at a Level I Trauma facility, with all patient populations including pediatrics through geriatrics. Details Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting with ER and Adult ICU exposure Level I Trauma, community hospital environment Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday (weekends only) On-call required as needed for call-off coverage MediTech EMR experience required GE scanner experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience Current BLS certification ARRT certification with formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA-approved school IEMA certification required Proficiency with
PACS, IV
starts, phlebotomy, and contrast administration Experience with GE CT equipment MediTech EMR experience required Ability to work with all patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics License required if applicable Additional Information Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, selecting appropriate technical factors to minimize the need for re-exposure in accordance with equipment operating guidelines Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and a working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Practice radiation safety methods at all times in compliance with policy and procedure Provide patient care by communicating procedures clearly, reducing patient apprehension, and upholding patient rights policies Black scrubs required First-time travelers are welcome to apply 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
