EEG Technician E-Solutions IT Services Private Limited•3.4 New Lenox, IL Job Details Contract $47 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications REEGT High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technician to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to assist in diagnosing neurological conditions, including epilepsy, neurocritical care cases, and trauma-related brain injuries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in neurophysiology, medical terminology, and anatomy, ensuring precise data collection and analysis. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient care in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers and Level II Trauma Centers, supporting clinicians with accurate diagnostic evaluations. Responsibilities Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and cooperation Operate EEG equipment to record electrical activity of the brain with precision and adherence to safety protocols Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout the procedure to ensure safety and optimal data quality Apply electrodes accurately based on standardized protocols, considering anatomy knowledge for precise placement Analyze EEG recordings for abnormalities, documenting findings clearly for review by neurologists or physicians Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and technical data in accordance with hospital policies Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous service Collaborate with medical teams specializing in neurocritical care, emergency medicine, and trauma to support diagnostic processes Stay updated on advances in neurophysiology techniques, including CT (Computed Tomography) integration when applicable Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment
