Job Description
Administer various types of standardized psychological tests to patients, including cognitive tests (i.e., attention and memory tests), personality inventories, among others. Set up and collect demographic information from patientWork one on one with patient, administering standardized tests to patient. Adapt the administration of test to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures set forth for each specific test.
Provide detailed written behavioral observations of the examinee that may be used by the neuropsychologist to aid in test interpretation. Trouble-shoot difficult testing situations Perform administrative tasks in support of testing and process improvement. Accurately score tests according to standardized rules and using appropriate normsPerform data entry using specialized neuropsychological software.
Perform various clerical or administrative duties that include but are not limited to patient scheduling, correspondence with outside providers/clinics and attorneys and procurement of office and testing supplies.
Participate in practice improvements by implementing changes to procedures/workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and assisting with the delivery of compassionate and personalized patient care.
