PRN - Flexible Scheduling 8 or 12 hour shfits 6am-230pm or 630am-7pm Weekday, weekend and rotated holidays Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center , an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital. The Missouri Baptist Medical Center Cardiac Testing department is a diagnostic testing center which focuses on identifying and evaluating cardiac disease processes. The department is comprised of RNs, cardiac sonographers, ECG techs, Nuclear Medicine technologists and administrative staff. The Cardiac Testing staff works in collaboration with Cardiologists to deliver high quality services to patients and their physicians. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs a variety of procedures in cardiology including preparing patients for stress testing, EKGs, transcribing EKG interpretations, maintaining the EKG management system, Holter monitor hookups and disconnects, Holter checks, patient care and assessments in cardiopulmonary rehab, and assisting the cardiologists as necessary. Responsibilities Performs general office duties. Performs cardiology tests and procedures. Ensures all equipment is cleaned, stocked, available, and kept in working order. Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvements of quality and service. Ensures charges are entered correctly and timely.
