What You'll Need:
High school diploma/GED and graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) in Neurodiagnostic Technology or 18 months experience in a related field required. 3+ Years of experience as an Epilepsy Technologist. Obtains R.EEG T., through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
What You'll Do:
Subject Matter Expert and assist other Epilepsy Technologist with complex or unique matters. Performs the application and removal of electrodes. Reviews data for seizure activity and abnormalities. Edits data for physician review. Assists nursing staff with patients during seizures, maintaining patient safety. Performs seizure testing with patients during their events. Performs outpatient procedures such as PET, SPECT, Wada and Ambulatory studies. Performs CEEG procedures in the ICU setting. Performs intracranial monitoring in the EMU and OR. Communicates with coworkers and physicians about changes in patient status. Assists other areas of Diagnostic Neurology. On call responsibilities for EEG. Our Commitment to

Ensures the continuous delivery of high quality patient care by consistently seeking new knowledge and application of skills obtained. Is a Subject Matter Expert for Epilepsy Techologists.
