Short Description The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service. Experience Required 0-2 years' experience required. Education Requirements High School/GED required. Vocational/Technical School preferred. License/Certification Requirements Formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification preferred. Per Diem Day
