7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Position Summary The Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs advanced neurodiagnostic testing within the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and routine laboratory settings. This role is ideal for an experienced EEG professional who is comfortable managing complex neurological cases and interpreting long-term video EEG monitoring studies. Additional responsibilities may include routine EEG testing at satellite locations and serving as a clinical preceptor for students. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced EEG studies within the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit Conduct routine electroencephalography procedures Review and edit inpatient video EEG monitoring studies Perform Evoked Potential testing including: Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP) Brainstem Auditory Evoked Responses (BAER) Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary care teams Provide mentorship and training to students when needed Support inpatient bedside EEG monitoring as required Qualifications Required Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist credentials Successful completion of the ABRET examination (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) Minimum of 2 years of neurodiagnostic experience Experience working within an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and/or advanced neurodiagnostic setting Experience with digital EEG systems Experience reviewing and editing inpatient video EEG monitoring studies Prior supervised experience under a Registered EEG Technologist We are seeking a technologist who thrives in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment and has experience managing complex neurological cases.
