Job Summary:

Utilizes duplex ultrasound (color/spectral Doppler & grayscale), and plethysmography techniques to perform non-invasive testing on patients referred to the Vascular Lab to diagnose the presence of vascular disorders. Provides preliminary test results and documentation required for the reading physician to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the results to be used by physicians to determine the appropriate medical and/or surgical therapies.

Variable Job Essentials:

Prior experience in Vascular Lab Perform patient assessments Acquire and analyze data obtained using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies Provide a summary of findings to the physician to aid in patient diagnosis and management Use independent judgment and systematic problem solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and optimize patient care

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program BLS Certification (issued by AHA or ARC)

License/Certification/Registry:

Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) preferred. Eligible to take an exam to become a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
