3x12 hour shifts Position Overview We are seeking a skilled EEG Technologist for an immediate, full-time contract position at a well-respected hospital in New York, NY. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of EEG Technologist experience, an active EEG certification, and current BLS certification. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and complex electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures according to established protocols and physician orders Accurately capture and record EEG data for physician interpretation Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment and ensure a clean, safe testing environment Document patient history, procedure details, and results in electronic medical records Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to deliver exceptional patient care Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of EEG Technologist experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (required) High school diploma or its educational equivalent EEG Certification (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Strong organizational and technical skills with commitment to quality patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($40.00•42.00/hr) Health Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Apply Today Immediate interviews available.
