We are seeking skilled professionals with experience performing electroencephalography (EEG) procedures in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Shift:
Two 12-hour shifts and one 11-hour shift per week Position Overview The EEG Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for EEG examinations, applying electrodes, operating and maintaining EEG equipment, identifying and monitoring tracings, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will have prior EEG experience in a hospital or healthcare environment and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for EEG examinations and explain procedures. Apply electrodes and ensure proper placement. Operate and maintain EEG equipment. Monitor, identify, and document EEG tracings. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of EEG Technologist experience High School Diploma or GED Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting OR Completion of an ABRET-recognized EEG training program OR Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program
